Robinho Ready TO Step Over To Chelsea?

I know I probably shouldn’t be getting my hopes up when it comes to Robinho, but it’s usually a good sign when Chelsea officially announce an offer for a player, so on this occasion I’ve been indulging myself by watching a few videos of the man in question. Now whilst I’ve never been a big fan of the ‘stepover’, I’ve always accepted it has its place as long as it’s used for more than effect – and bearing in mind it’s a Robinho trademark, I’ll settle for seeing a bit more of this at Stamford Bridge:

  1. Robinho is class!!!! and we certainly need a talent like this in Chelsea, just like Man utd have Ronaldo.
And I think this guy will play even better under big phil.

  2. dude!

the video is no longer available.. hehe.. what can you say about the latest buzz about kaka joining chelsea? that would really make scolari scratch his hairless head if that rumour goes through.. ballack,lampard,deco,essien.mikel…. and kaka maybe..

  3. Now go back to those videos and check out how many times he actually beats his man. Maybe one in five times. Don’t get fooled by all his riverdance stuff. Ask why he was so unsuccessful at Madrid in his first year and barely better last year. He’s just not very good.

  4. In response to Squiddy. Ronaldo does exactly the same thing. it’s not just about getting past your opponent but its a great technique to distract/annoy your opponent especially in the box. Ronaldo got a lot of free kicks and a few penalties because his opponents either miss judge their tackle or angrily took him out.

Now from what I have seen to date Robinho does the step over even quicker. Scolari will polish it even more , make him the best player in the world !!!!

With regards to Kaka, I am starting to think that AC Millan purchased Ronaldindo for a reason – give way to Chelsea’s irresistible offer for Kaka.

Kaka and Robinho phew!!! How deadly would that be.
and I am sure Chelsea will get one of them if not both.

  5. People have been saying Robinho is too lightweight to be a success in the EPL, but what about Juninho. Similar build and all that.

He definately has the skills to be a success, I’ve no doubt, we need a player with a bit of electric pace and abilty we’ve lacked since Robben left ( cough)

  6. I agree with Squiddy; all flash and no product. On the positive side, this reminds me of C Ronaldo 2 season ago and last season he was superb. Maybe it’s Robinho’s time to peak too. But only if he comes to Stamford Bridge, of course.
