Robinho Deal Back On?

According to reports on SkySports, with both Manchester United and the new mega-rich Manchester City fighting it out over Dimitar Berbatov, our old pals Real Madrid have jumped in with a whopping £36.5million bid for the Spurs striker.

This morning’s news told us a British record bid had been accepted from Manchester City in excess of £30million for the wantaway striker although the player is currently at Carrington, having been picked up from the airport by Fergie himself.

However, the latest development seems to be that Real Madrid – who, let’s face it are desperate for some kind of signing to salvage a little dignity this summer – are trying to muscle in with the money and outbid both Premier League clubs. And here’s the most laughable bit – if they’re successful, they’ll let us have Robinho.

How very benevolent of them, particularly after they’d told us to sling our hooks yesterday!

However, Guillem Balague has refuted this claim although suggests Chelsea are planning to put in a final offer which naturally they hope the Spanish club find too hard to turn down.

    i would tell real to sling there hook, shame for chelsea and robhino whom i would love at cfc.Suprised we didnt go for out and out striker tho, like huntelaar, got no faith in anelka at all after yesterdays episod, i would of scored the shot he missed in first half.I think real madrid are scum the way one rule for them and one for others, wouldnt be suprised if they do back down tho.
