Ballack Back For Champions League

With Mikel seeing out 90 minutes against City and even Didier Drogba managing a tentative 20 minutes, it’s been better news on Chelsea’s injury front – especially following the Michael Essien’s injury during an international game which has ruled him out for several months. And that good news continues, with the announcement that Michael Ballack is also set to return, and is likely to play a part in our Champions League game against Bordeaux on Tuesday.

Ballack has been missing for three weeks, following a foot injury picked up in the game against Wigan last month, but Scolari says “He will play on Tuesday but I do not know whether it will be for 45 minutes, 60 or 70.”

So we know it won’t be 90 then?
