It seems like Ricardo Carvalho and Michael Essien have been out forever already, which is probably because Essien’s been out for the past 3 months and Carvalho’s barely seen the pitch this season either.

Unfortunately, despite Carvalho initially being pencilled in for tomorrow’s game against Everton, it’s looking very unlikely that he’ll figure, with Scolari stating “Ricardo is not in condition, maybe two days more, ten days maximum.”

And on Michael Essien, the news isn’t good either, with Scolari suggesting “Essien is in very good condition, but only for February, March. I think in this time he will play.”
It never rains eh?
