Villareal Testing The Waters On Malouda?
Posted on January 21st, 2009 by Chelsea D
A little while ago, Luiz Felipe Scolari suggested any of his players who wanted out could go – at the right price.
Well, by all accounts that’s had Villareal sitting up to listen although they don’t appear to have heard the second part of Scolari’s statement. Because, whilst they apparently want to put a bid in for Florent Malouda, this bid is rumoured to be in the region of £9million. Hardly what you’d call the right price then, seeing as we signed him for £13.5million in July 2007.
Mind you, I can’t see him being allowed to go anywhere with Joe Cole already out for the remainder of the season anyway.
Thoughts?

i believe malouda should be sold if we chelsea can bring in a more talented left winger like yuri zhirkov.
Florance hasn’t been much of a success down at the Bridge so move him on get some one in who looks like they want to play football with a bit of passion.
I think he is another overated player, hyped up by the media, because he was in the world cup team fro France…
Underperformer in most games?
Bring in one of the young boys, who will have fire in his belly and a bit more enthusiasm?
