Another Want-away Striker?

Despite Claudio Pizarro’s agent initially rubbishing rumours during the summer that the striker would be going anywhere, as we all know, he did eventually go to Werder Bremen on loan.
The Peru international never got his act together at Chelsea since joining us on a free transfer in 2007, although seems to be doing better in the Bundesliga, with 10 goals in 13 appearances. Needless to say, Pizarro is now suggesting he would “love to carry on playing for Werder”, and despite him being under contract with us until 2011, Bremen general manager Klaus Allofs is also hoping the German club can sort out a permanent transfer for him in the summer, confirming “Claudio has told us he wants to remain with us once the season is over.”
And with Chelsea apparently having a major clearout this season, you’d have to assume Pizarro will be getting his wish.
