Yet Another Chelsea Departure?

With us turning into a selling club this season is there yet another Chelsea departure on the horizon?

Well, it’s being reported by Sky Sports that after much speculation, Branislav Ivanovic is to become a Gigliati player.

The Serbian clearly hasn’t been happy with his lack of playing time at Chelsea and his agent, Vlado Borozan, had previously suggested he’d agreed a deal with Fiorentina and was simply waiting for Chelsea to give him the nod to go ahead.

And whilst the ins and outs of the deal aren’t yet clear, what we’re being told is that whilst Ivanovic, as a non-EU player won’t be available for Fiorentina immediately, he should arrive at the end of the season.

    In the summer Mancienne should join the 4 options for a centre back, so selling Ivanovich (along with Bridge) to raise a combined £20,000,000 to help us afford another attacking winger is good sense. Mind you the way things have been recently I am surprised he hasn’t overtake Alex as 3rd choice - his form has really dipped.

    Yeh I have to agree with you about Alex. chelseaR. His recent form certainly make the rumours about him wanting a move a lot more believable as well. And as for Mancienne coming in during the summer, of course he should. It’s about time we started bringing some of our young talent through.

    I agree with you about Alex. His form has really dropped. I don’t know of u guys but we need better DEFENCE. Our finishing is getting there.
