Of All People: Drogba Reassures Us!

How ironic, we have one of our poorest performances of the season that sees us slump to fourth in the table and serious questions raised about whether we’ll even qualify for the Champions League, and it’s our poorest performer of the season who tries to convince us we can turn it around.

Didier Drogba has been utter shite this term, what’s more,it hasn’t once looked like it’s bothered him – indeed, we’ve even seen him laughing at his own performances this season. So what makes him think we’re remotely interested in his reassurances?

Well, because whilst our season comes crashing down to the obvious joy of everyone else around us, Didier Drogba focuses on the most important thing he can think of right now – himself.

The Ivorian says “It’s a little difficult at the moment, but we will find ways to return. I hope in the Champions League we will do well.  You can’t have a 10-year career where everything is great. I am in a period like that – a little less good.  Is this difficult to experience? If I say no, people will say I am not ambitious. If I say yes, people will think I am demoralised when it is really not the case.  It is not easy but it is not the end of the world. The main thing is that I am in good health physically.”

As long as you’re ok eh Drogba?!

You had one good season.. thats it mate… One Good season….Its always something with Drogba isnt it…?? the planets have to be in alignment for him to have agood day. My bet is, is that if Drogba had been sold in the summer and the money used to buy a “real Chelsea Player” we wouldnt be in this mess now…….lets see who comes in for him in the summer… until then, if your gonna take the money, put in the shift!
