John Terry As Committed As Ever

Man City are at it again. I’ve lost count of the amount of players they’ve been linked with since the Arabs took over – not that they’ve ended up getting any of the big names they’ve bandied about mind you.
One of the names they’ve been linked with on more than one occasion is the Chelsea captain and despite the player and the club appearing to make their feelings clear, Manchester’s second club don’t seem to have understood. Because we’re now hearing City did indeed make an approach – and Chelsea duly knocked them back.
Kenyon says “We made it very clear that John was not for sale. We did not entertain any further conversation on the subject and nor will we in the future. John is our captain and the captain of England. He is part of the heart and soul of Chelsea.”
However, with us seeing the back of yet another manager, the press suggest City are hoping Terry could be unhappy enough to be persuaded by the offer of £150,000 a week and a £20million move in the summer. And whilst the general consensus seems to be that it won’t happen, even before the announcement of last year’s £65.7m losses, last month TheChelseaBlog was already asking the hypothetical question about JT’s future.
Whilst I continue to agree that John Terry represents a lot more to Chelsea than your average player, I can’t help thinking his stature let’s him get away with a multitude of sins. He clearly hasn’t played anywhere near the level we’ve come to expect of him this season, and indeed, has questioned his own fitness levels recently. And yet, despite my concerns that maybe we’ve seen the best of JT, it seems I’m in a minority of one as time and again, he’s the one player supporters refuse to question.
But is that more about his commitment to the club than his playing ability these days? Because, as if to cement his place for the foreseeable future, on hearing the most recent speculation linking him to Middle Eastlands, Terry says “Chelsea told me what had happened last year as a courtesy. I was very happy with their reaction as mine would have been the same. I have always said that I want to end my career at the club which I love and we all see no reason why that cannot happen. Given recent events I am more determined than ever to make Chelsea successful again.”

LOL got too about this John Terry to link up with Richard Dunne at Man City. Now how could you beat them???? A quick forward some body with that could run?
Sorry I am getting ahead of my self as of course John Terry would never be sold to a richer club or would he leave for more money! How could a richer club do that! Take your good players for themselves and leave you with just money! Next thing that they will do is buy a play out from under your noses once you have decided to buy them! That not the way to be fair is it Bad Man City for being the riches club in the world!
What next taking Maureen back?
Reading this comments by Maureen “Chelsea special me special” one question do they need to bring in drug testing for managers? Because this year I think a few would fail drugs test more deluded than Chelsea Delude or does Ferguson send each manager a special bottle of wine each week? By the look of the face on Ferguson he drinks quiet a few bottles of cooking wine himself or is it Buckfast Tonic favoured by the jocks?
Ok Sham, so I’m deluded, a few managers would fail drug tests and SAF drinks too much……did you read your comment back before you posted it btw?
Wtf Sham? I’ve got a headache from trying to decipher your comment. It was as if you were trying to say something coherent but you were vomiting while trying to say it.
