Villa and Barcelona After Chelsea Defender

Michael Mancienne finally gets a full game for the first team and the next thing we know he’s got a couple of decent clubs after him.

He had an ok game for us against Watford, not faultless but his heart was definitely more in it than some of his seniors and he certainly worked hard enough. So, after going on about how our younger players should be getting their chance now, I was really happy to see him complete 90 minutes, even if it took our manager leaving for it to happen.

What I wasn’t so pleased about though was the report in The News Of The World that both Aston Villa and Barcelona have made the 21 year old a target for the summer.

Any truth in it? I bloody hope not!

    Michael Mancienne is the new Rio Ferdinand. Its good to see that some of our youngsters are shining. Not just him but also Miroslav Stoch. I hope next season they will be playing regular first team football. I won’t be surprized if any clubs are interested in any of our youngsters.

    He is lucky we have no england manager with Balls or it would have been Terry and Carragher, but the press hype him up!

    Mancienne playing against wattford shows dat he is a great player,he does the right thing at the right.and i think should be in the starting 11 instead of jose bonsingwa.sell this young talented star(mancienne) wil be the greatest mistake chelsea wil ever make,he is still young and he has a lot of years to play,and b4 he wil get to the age of terry or lampard he wil be a superstar player in chelsea squard.selling him out to other clubs to become star there wil not be the right decision
