Deco Missing Again

Oh look, we have a big game tonight and a certain Brazilian playmaker has withdrawn from the squad – excuse me if I can’t act anymore surprised but it seems ‘big game’ and ‘Deco out’ are a much more predictable pairing than our front two this season. Or am I just a cynic?

Anyway, the midfielder has apparently suffered a minor hamstring injury, missed training yesterday, and is expected to need two or three days rest.

I expect that means he’ll conveniently recover in time for Wigan’s visit Saturday then?

    Drogba was man of the match against Villa and was fractions away from a couple in an all-action display tonight. Do you not know what’s good for you? We could’ve done with Deco after a half-hearted Ballack display. He’s simply not up to the pace any more.
