Hiddink’s Future Still Undecided?

Will he? Won’t he?

The question of whether or not Guus Hiddink will stay at Chelsea past the summer is one that probably won’t be answered for certain until the time comes but that doesn’t stop the speculation.

And the latest round of speculation seems to be based on the fact that he hasn’t categorically ruled it out. Well, that and the fact that ‘a source’ suggests that with Russia already a bit put out by the arrangement, Hiddink simply ‘wants to let them down gently.’

In fact, this ‘source’ seems to be under the impression that Hiddink has already sounded out former PSV colleague Hans van der Zee about linking up with him. The pair worked together for four years at PSV and Frank Arnesen for one, could well be a little nervous to hear these latest reports because if they’re true, he’ll know that with Hiddink less than impressed with him at PSV, his P45 wouldn’t be far away.

Fingers crossed then!

  1. 2 games in the league and 1 in the CL maybe after a 10 games he might be thinking of staying but too early as yet or else he might want to see can he get a big club with History!!
Looking like a few big clubs in Europe will be looking new managers next year.

  2. i don’t think its up to him, i think RA would care more about Russia’s chances in world cup than chelsea, i mean i think the prestige that gives him and generally everything else that ties in to that would mean that he would place that higher at the moment or at least not jeopardize it. I don’t think he will make any friends if he keeps Hiddnik and Russia falter.
