We all know it, everyone at Chelsea knows it, even the new Chelsea boss knows it, so it would seem the only one’s on the planet who haven’t sussed that John Terry will not be leaving Chelsea are City’s money men.

There’s been ongoing speculation about whether their money could do more for the Chelsea captain than Abramovich’s rubles from the minute the Arabs arrived and yet no matter how many times the player or the club have made their positions clear, the rumours persist.

However, on the eve of our game against City, the new Chelsea boss has added his view of whether Terry would ever consider a move to Middle Eastlands by stating “John made a very clear statement that he is a Chelsea man and wants to stay a Chelsea man and the club made it very clear they want him to stay forever. Some players are brought up within this club and it’d be difficult to see him leaving.  I can imagine John will stay until the end of his career.”

I wonder if that’s clear enough for our visitors?
