Former Manchester United Man On Hiddink And Mourinho’s ‘Big Head’

There’s been plenty of talk about the possibility of Guus Hiddink leaving the Russian national side and becoming a permanent fixture at Stamford Bridge but few of those who have talked about it have summed it up quite as well as former Manchester United and Russia winger Andrei Kanchelskis.

The 40 year old, who’s now Russian first division side Nosta Novotroitsk’s general manager says “Hiddink is a good person.  He is open.  He always talks to the players and the press, not like Mourinho or Scolari.”

And whilst previous managers, when compared to Jose Mourinho, haven’t exactly come out of it favourably, this isn’t the case for Hiddink as far as Kanchelskis is concerned because he suggests “Mourinho is a more closed man with a big head. Hiddink is different. He is a very good man. He has a good career. He has worked with good teams.”

He’s got a way with words eh?
