Chelsea Youngster Off To Spain?

TheChelseaBlog was recently wondering how much longer we’ll be able to keep hold of some of our youngsters at Chelsea if they’re not going to get the opportunity to integrate into the first team before they themselves hit the magic 30 and today it looks as if one of our younger players at least, won’t be hanging around for his 30th birthday.

Ben Sahar has recently been linked with a move to Espanyol and recent reports suggest it’s a done deal, with the Spanish club expected to announce the signing today.

    Even though I’ve never seen him play this is a little disappointing. He seemed to have a good scoring record for the Israeli national team and he had a few for some Dutch side. Would have looked good in next season’s Carling Cup, but as long as we keep Stoch I’ll be happy.
