Chelsea Get The Ball Rolling With Signings

It’s official, we really have signed ourselves a new addition to the squad – in the form of Ross Turnball.

The former Middlesbrough keeper decided not to renew his contract at The Riverside following their relegation (I’ll never tire of saying that J) and hot on the heels of this week’s speculation, it’s been confirmed this evening that the 24 year old has joined us on a free transfer.

Hilario has apparently also signed a new two year deal, keeping him at the club until 2011, so between the sticks at least, it looks as if we’ve got the competition Petr Cech seemed to miss last term.
