There never seems to have been much love lost between our managers in recent years – or should that be between Mourinho and our other managers in recent years? Well, whichever it is, Mourinho seems to be at it again with our latest manager.

Not that it should come as any surprise though, because with Ancelotti in charge of Inter’s fiercest rivals in Serie A until the end of last season, they weren’t exactly bosom buddies before he took over at Chelsea anyway. So, when Ancelotti made it clear during his first press conference that he wasn’t interested in the former Chelsea boss, stating “I don’t know any ‘Special One’,” it obviously struck a nerve with Mourinho who went on a bit of a rant.

When subsequently asked about Ancelotti at a press conference, the defensive Portuguese One stated “He is not my friend.  He is a good coach with plenty of experience and could do well.  Ancelotti says he doesn’t know any ‘Special One’? I don’t either, but I do know a coach who won two consecutive titles with Chelsea after 50 years without winning it.  In England, they now say that he is Prince Charles, but I only know one Prince Charles – the Prince of Wales.”

Er, ok.
