Our pre-season kicked off against Seattle Sounders with a 2-0 win. Not much to write home about although it has to be said Sturridge looks handy. Next up is Inter on Tuesday.

The new season is approaching and despite talk of a ‘marquee signing’ for Chelsea, there doesn’t seem to be much sign of one yet. Unless Sturridge, Turnball or Zhirkov are classed as ‘marquee signings’ of course – nah, surely not?
Mind you, none of the constant links in the press seem to be happening do they? [...]
