Ballack Ready For Manchester United?

It’s Manchester United in the Community Shield for us this weekend and we’ll have to hope for a lot more from the lads than they showed against Reading if we’re going to come out of it with anything more than bruised pride.
One player who’s hoping to be fit in time for Sunday’s game is Michael Ballack. Our German midfielder had to return to London during our pre-season tour of the USA with a fractured toe but he seems to be heading in the right direction in terms of recovering before the weekend.
New Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti says “For the next match against United he will be ready. I have more or less the team that will play in my mind. We have this week before the game and I want to control the physical condition of all my players. We have to improve a little over the next week but I’m happy with the condition of the team.”
Improve a little? Hmmmm.
