Carvalho Looking Forward

One minute he wants to go to Inter, the next he’s scoring equalisers against United, so what is going on with Ricardo Carvalho?
Well, when questioned on exactly that subject after the game yesterday, the 31 year old defender stated “Of course I’m staying, but first of all I have to get fit and better for my team-mates. Of course last year was a disaster, it was the worst time I’ve had in my career. I wasn’t happy. After that now I have to look forward, but I have to get fit and to help my team-mates.”
It won’t please Mourinho who’s already had a whinge because we won’t just let our players go to him but sod him because Carvalho showed again yesterday why I’ve always rated him our best central defender. I don’t hold with players wanting away from the club but then again, I don’t remember him ever making us any promises, so if he can keep himself injury free this season, it’ll be our gain and Mourinho’s loss.
