Chelsea: Would You Trust This Man?

Oh dear, oh dear. Here we all were thinking Petr Cech would have some decent cover this season eh? Ok, so we put a total of 7 goals past Ross Turnball last season – 5 of them in one hit – but he was playing for Boro, so that in itself was worth giving him the benefit of the doubt for surely? Unfortunately, if lasts nights performance for the reserves is anything to go by, even on a free transfer, we might have been benevolent in the extreme.
I didn’t watch it myself but if the scoreline and reports are to be believed, it seems Turnball had a nightmare for our reserves against Villa’s, as we took a 4-0 battering. From being unable to hold onto the ball on the edge of his area and failing to get anywhere near his own players misguided headers, right through to his sloppy clearances, it sounds as if Turnball crammed it all into his game.
Just a bad night? I dunno but I’d feel a bit iffy about having him on our bench.

I watched the game and it was terrible…not only was Turnbull terrible, but it seemed the whole team was lacking confidence and experience. Maybe because all the experienced players went out on loan and we had no real leader to direct the youngsters. The only person worth mentioning was Sturridge who had some nice passes and hit the crossbar with a free-kick.
I bet his mum loves him………..
Don’t worry man. Hilario is our second choice. The only way Ross will get to play is if both Cech and Hilario are injured. What are the odds of that happening?
