Chelsea Injuries Update
Given our track record over the last couple of seasons, it looked as if ACON would be our main concern this season because we hadn’t been doing too badly on the injury front. Unfortunately, that’s not the case though.
We heard earlier this week that Ashley Cole had suffered a depressed fracture in his leg and won’t be back until the Arsenal game at the end of the month at the earliest. As for the other side of the pitch, Chelsea confirmed yesterday Jose Bosingwa – who’d been out with a knee injury since mid-October – has undergone surgery that looks like keeping him out for the next three months.
On top of that, we’re told that having tussled with Johny Evans’ boot at the weekend, Didier Drogba has pulled out of Ivory Coast’s squad with severe bruising to his ribs – thankfully, he should be back in time for our next game.

Latest, heard from skysport news today reported that Frank Lampard had sustained a knock while in training and he was replaced by Jermain Defoe!!
…and if that’s true, that’ll make 4 of the senior players out …Ashley Cole x2weeks, Zhirkov x1week, Bosigwa possible 3 mos and Lampard!
Wish the rest of the players that involved in the international duty good luck and return home safely…with injury free.
surprise surprise… Lampard is out too!!!
Lampard out until christmas
And terrys a Doubter too ..
wtd .. ??
Anyway the bench strength in the midfield isnt bad .. we can cope ..
theres malouda and ballack at the wings and deco essien and joe cole ..
its the defence .. if terrys out too … then well .. hmm .. lets wait and watch .. !
wow..what a bad timing!!! Terry might be fit for tomorrow’s match but still….not another injury!!
Lampard is out 3 weeks estimated and that includes Arsenal. All those saying no changes in January transfer window, remember this team is not youthful and injuries are going to be the concern.
This also hurts my prem pool and I may have to drop Lamps and pick up I dare say Stevie G.
Drogba is likely just resting for the dead rubber match for Ivory Coast. I read he may play in their friendly vs. Germany in the midweek.
Hopefully 1-2 can be be fit for the Porto trip on the 25th, and another 1-2 can be fit for Arsenal away. Tough time of the year to have injuries, but hopefully we’re getting them out of the way now and will stay fit through January.
Drogba OUT ..
Broken Rib ..
Damn Evans .. and DAMN United!!
Manure are fond of raising cheap and reckless and arrogant players .. cantona .. keane .. smith .. fletcher . Neville .. Vidic .. Evans .. and then they have a go at the drogbas and the carraghers ..
Hahaha .. Cheap Bums ..
