We might have been linked with Sergio Aguero but as far as Carlo Ancelotti’s concerned, the press can what they like – we won’t be buying anyone in January.
In fact, the Chelsea manager is so intent on putting the rumours to bed he’s threatening to get his own kit off!
Unfortunately, if his intention was to shut the press up, Ancelotti seems to had the opposite effect by insisting “I can tell you I will not be buying anybody in January. Absolutely no way. I am willing to pay a forfeit if I do, even to run round the training ground naked! Of course, there are coaches in Italy who say that you should never say anything is 100 per cent. You should always say 99.99 per cent. But I am not changing my mind about the transfer window. We have a lot of confidence in my strikers. Not only Drogba, not only Kalou, not only Anelka. Also Sturridge and Borini. I have not asked for new players to my club. And Roman Abramovich hasn’t asked me if I need any. In my opinion, I think that we have good solutions internally even when we lose the African players. If you have new players, maybe it’s a problem in February or March, when the others come back and are available. We don’t need them in this moment, to have new players.”
And just to make sure none of us are in any doubt whatsoever, Ancelotti threatens “I’ll streak round Cobham if I’m telling lies!”

I’m sure if Carlos do not buy Aguero , he must out from Stamford Bridge because Chelsea need to buy him. If Aguero not to Stamford chelsea will miss Champ again and again.
Carlos will follow to Mr Scolari. I’m not chelsea coach but I’m one of the biggest Chelsea Fan, and I know that what Chelsea need. Chelsea is strongest club in the world, but Chelsea should buy Aguero and some new player.
(Chelsea fan) I’m sorry but i don’t want to be with Ancelotti on this one. Although or squad has a lot of talent, I still think we need to sign 1 or 2 strikers this january and 10r 2 mid-fielders. Since we don’t have four of our first team players(Drogba, Kalou Essien and Mikel), this January, I think we still need to get a back up plan. Since Anelka is currently on an injury, we don’t want to put so much pressure on (Daniel) Sturridge. We don’t really need to sign star players (Kun Aguero) but we need a few young players to bolster our strength in depth, and to also give us more options.
if we dont buy players than we will win nothing, Malouda, Belletti, Kaou, Mikel, Ferreira, Ballack, Deco and 1 or 2 others have all been inconsistent and unimpressive for the majority of their stay at the club. We cannot rely on these players any longer, we need not only talented but also” hungry to win everything” players. The alternative if we dont get in fresh blood in this window is second or third place in all competitions.
In truth from the beginning of the season we have not been dominant enough, we had quite a bit of luck which is now gone so we need to win on pure ability and hard sweat, personally I dont think we do have the players and need to strenghten the midfield and the striking positions with at least 3-4 playes and also 1 or 2 promising youngsters for the future before the transfer ban hits us.
I’m not on the Carlo’s side, there’s no need to spend huge amount for Kun or Ribery but we have to do so for Dzeko and van der Vaart, because Dzeko is not a big player (star) so when our first choice player return from International duties he will compete with them for the benefit of the Club ! We have to do business !
