Ashley Cole Putting His Foot In It

Ashley Cole doesn’t do himself any favours does he?

As if it’s not bad enough being caught doing over 100mph in a 50mph zone, he then argues he was only doing 80! Unfortunately, the police, being their usual picky selves, didn’t quite see his point – funny that!

Cole didn’t turn up for his trial but it looks as if it could be a while before he gets to take his Lamborghini Gallardo out for a spin once he’s sentenced at the end of the month, because Richard Lomax prosecuting, says “The defendant was stopped and spoken to and the words he said at the time, when it became plain that somebody was pointing a speed camera at him, were: ‘Can’t you do anything about those idiots who keep chasing me?’  The Crown says there can be no other sensible construction of the words uttered by Mr Cole at the time than that he was conceding he was driving at a speed more than 50mph. It is plain that he found the attention of persons with cameras unwelcome and he was trying to get away from them. The only sensible inference therefore is that he was going too quickly.”

What you might call ‘banged to rights’.

  1. nobody is perfect.driving a lambo at 100mph? thats cruising.it never bothers what happen off the pitch.i’m more concerned if we would win at hull come saturday.bolton is unlikely to not lose at emirates n i hope that complacency does not kick in after the mauling of watford.it could be another potential ‘west ham’ test as they r on the wrong side of the table.carlo needs to start the team w almost a perfect 11, dont give us anymore heart attack having to switch strategy at half time after 1-0 down.sometimes its ridiculous to see a good team like us struggles in the first 20 minutes.hull will go behind the ball early thats for sure n if we hit a goal inside 20 minutes with a good attacking 11 we will force them to come out n play n hit them back w counter attacks.an early goal is the key in all our away games.i hope carlo stop messing around with the starting 11.games that we started badly often ended badly.

  2. please dont start ballack.he’s past prime time.fit in 2 speedy young wingers at the diamond with lots of energy to burn.hull will hv hard time on the left n right.thats their weak points.bullard is not likely to start so belleti will probably hv a field day holding up nicely.our wing-play is as good as anybody n we do need to crack open their defence sideways where our diamond can penetrate through the middle as well.i see this score to be a comfortable 3-0 win. if we start well. minus ballack.

  3. let it snow let it snow let it snow……….the weather outside is weather…………. ha ha, just when the gooners r drooling n rubbing their hands expecting to bulldoze bolton off to come within a point of…….. n…….ting!……..match delayed! ha ha ha!!!! its a sign, things always happen for a reason. we will win on saturday n MU will draw!!!! we will pull away fast n arsene can eat his words with his regular curses of us dropping points. ha ha ha…. i m so happy…………..

  4. watch who’s cursing now? arsene.
