Bellamy Having A Laugh?

In my quest for understatement of the year award I’m going to stick my neck out and suggest John Terry isn’t football’s favourite son right now. His behaviour of late has seen him go from England captain and Daddies sauce father of the year to public enemy number one and not without good cause. But when you have individuals like Craig Bellamy standing in judgement of the Chelsea captain, you just know it’s gone too far.

And yet, after yesterday’s defeat to City, the ‘nutter with the putter’ had the front to say “I know what JT is like, so nothing surprises me about him – I know I won’t count on that guy, and I think everyone in football knows what the guy’s like.”

I mean, is he serious? This from a bloke even managers stand ten paces away from when talking to him, nevermind team-mates. A player who throws chairs at assistants and punches at opposition supporters, threatens to fake injury rather than be played out of position, publicly berates his manager’s and sends threatening texts to fellow players.

I guess his argument would be that it’s better to swing golf clubs at team-mates than to shag their ex’s but seriously Mr Bellamy, shouldn’t you get your own glass house in order before you throw stones at other people’s?

  1. If I was John Terry I would take it as a compliment.

  2. What next? Bowyer and Woodgate calling JT a racist?

  3. No neck has just made a big mistake…JT will do some damage next time they meet…I see the Welsh tosser being taken off with a bad injury..hopefully an elbow in his fat mouth…

  4. I would definitely say that Bellamy has put his own house in order:
