Boost For Chelsea Ahead Of Community Shield

After all the panic around our injuries with the list of players missing the start of the season seeming to climb by the day, it looks as if the extended sicknotes were a bit premature.
Ahead of another disappointing pre-season game yesterday, Carlo Ancelotti confirmed that both Didier Drogba and Petr Cech are expected to be ready for the start of the season. In fact, better than that, they should both play in the Community Shield against United at the weekend.
Drogba was a late inclusion in the squad for our trip to Germany and although he didn’t take part he’s expected to be involved against Hamburg midweek. As for Cech, he hasn’t gone to Germany but Ancelotti doesn’t have any worries about him ahead of the weekend.
Of the two players, the Chelsea boss says “He (Drogba) is in good condition, he has recovered well from surgery so he will be able to play the next game (against Hamburg). Yeah it is very good he is doing very well. All our squad is improving our condition and I think we will be ready for the start of the season. Petr Cech is good, I think he will be fit for the game against Manchester United. I think that all the players will be fit against Manchester United and only (Jose) Bosingwa needs more time to be fit.”
Great news!

Waw dats great a news…But i stil thnk dat we need to get rameris in as soon as posible and if posible get a beta n younger striker lyk aguero or pato.
Did anyone see the Kalou interview? He said he wants to win the Charity shield and Champions league this season. Talking about the Champions league he sounded genuinely hungry and really wanted to win it. Id rather have 1 hungry Kalou than 10 of Citys lazy fatcat journeymen
drogba and peter cech will back to chelsea face to manchester united……..
