Benayoun Belts Out YNWA!

Yossi Benayoun has barely got one foot in the door and seems to have done his best to have his arse kicked back out of it already!

As we all know, part of every new Chelsea player’s initiation at the club is to endure feeling a right pillock by standing up in front of the entire first-team squad to sing a song but when it came to Benayoun’s turn, the ex-Liverpool man took the subtle approach to settle himself in with his team-mates – by belting out YNWA!

Benayoun says “I started with You’ll Never Walk Alone. They stopped me in the middle and so I moved into a song in Hebrew, my language, so it was OK.”

I’m not sure ‘ok’ is how anyone else in the room would have described it but I’m sure he’ll be on the end of plenty of payback during the season.

    he wasn’t really in to it he came on and got tackled a bit but did good ,but he neeeds a bit more training practice

    what i think we all have to remember is that while most chelsea fans dislike, despise, or hate with a fiery passion all things liverpool; most footballers understand more so than the fans, that in the end it’s just a game. it was a joke, maybe one or two of our lads took it the wrong way, but in the end we can only hope that he does well for our club and that liverpool get relegated… :)
