Oscar’s Night & Chelsea Switch Off

Ok, so a 2-2 draw from 2-0 up wasn’t ideal but there were positives to take from last night’s Champions League game against Juventus as well. You may well see the name ‘Oscar’ mentioned a bit in some of the following reviews!

Sky Sports give us the manager’s perspective from a deflated Di Matteo

Teamtalk bring us Mikel’s admission of “switching off”

We Ain’t Got No History have Buffon’s opinion on THAT goal

  1. i must confess , oscar was fantastic with the second goal he scored but i am not impressed with the team performance in the second half . I don’t see Di mateo going far with this squad as he has refused to play the right players in their best positions. it seem to me that Lampard will be a problem again this season as the coach has no guts to put him where he belongs (bench)..Mikel is full of mistakes and we are beginning to see why previous coaches didnt make use of him full time for all games. Di mateo should explore his options in that area and try being creative..
