Congratulations to all at Chelsea Football Club. Thoroughly deserved. Well done Chelsea, well done Jose and well done Roman. The olive branch was well worth extending. He promised us the title this season and delivered it in good time. Chelsea FC Premier League champions 2014/15.

With Pellegrini confidently stating “the biggest club is City now” and the Manchester club still fighting on all four fronts, Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho believes as far as the Premier League title goes at least, Man City have the advantage.

Having seen his players battle back from what must have seemed like the wilderness this season, Carlo Ancelotti quite rightly points out that no-one actually expected today’s game to have any relevance to the title race at all.
