Scolari Taking His Pick?

just deciding what name to put on the back?

just deciding what name to put on the back?

The press don’t give in easily do they? I mean, how many times do Chelsea have to say they won’t be venturing into January’s transfer market before the penny drops? It clearly hasn’t dropped yet though, because the links just keep on coming.

We’ve already heard this week how Andrei Arshavin fancies a move to Chelsea and now with the Zenit general manager quoted as saying the 27 year old has been given permission to talk to other clubs added to rumours of Arshavin travelling to London, the result is the press claiming he’s been ‘in talks’ with Chelsea.

That’s not all though, because Chelsea are also reported as being ‘in talks’ with Sevilla’s Luis Fabiano. The 28 year old’s lack of discipline is rumoured to have caused a bit of friction with his boss, prompting him to seek a move in the transfer window.

So, according to the press, it’s just a matter of Scolari which of the two players he fancies really. Or is it? Because whilst the press are busy sorting out our squad, Scolari is saying “Peter Kenyon has said many times now that we will not sell players and we won’t buy players.  Peter is my boss and if he says that this is the philosophy, it is okay, it is finished.”

I somehow doubt that.
