A section of the Chelsea fans are excited by what Ross Barkley could bring to the table when the new Premier League season begins.
The England international has lacked the consistency in terms of his performances since arriving from Everton in January 2018, but he has excelled during the recent pre-season under new boss Frank Lampard.
Playing in the number 10 role, the 25-year-old has been offered with the freedom to express himself and he was the Blues’ best performer in pre-season with four goals and three assists from six appearances.
As such, there has been plenty of positivity over the playmaker’s display ahead of the 2019/2020 season and some of the Blues’ faithful have voiced their views on Twitter.
If you don't have Ross Barkley in your FPL team, I don't even know what to tell you.

Both Barkley and Mason Mount have impressed in the number 10 position during the course of pre-season but the former should stand the better chance of starting against Manchester United in the Premier League opener, considering his experience in the top-flight.
Elsewhere, he has been able to find form during the backend of the pre-season campaign with goals in each of the final four friendlies while his impressive long-ball distribution should likewise give him the edge over Mount for the curtain-raiser.
There is the option of playing both Barkley and Mount from the starting lineup with the former moving to a wider position, but Lampard may consider sticking with the same attack against Red Bull Salzburg where the Blues produced their best attacking performance. Christian Pulisic and Pedro are most likely to flank Barkley in this case.
