A selection of the Chelsea supporters have hailed the performance of Tammy Abraham during the club’s 3-2 Premier League win over Norwich City on the road on Saturday.
The Blues were unable to register victories in the opening three games under manager Frank Lampard, but that streak was put to an end against the Canaries with a strong display.
Though the club conceded a couple of goals, they were in control of the proceedings at most stages of the game and Abraham was the star performer with a brace including the match winner.
The young striker had recently come under criticism from the fans after barely making an impact, but he managed to redeem himself at Carrow Road where Lampard showed faith in his abilities.
Abraham opened the scoresheet within the third minute with a delightful half-volley from a Cesar Azpilicueta cross, but his second goal in the 68th minute was undoubtedly the highlight moment.
With the scores level at 2-2, Abraham was in the right position to latch onto a perfect long-range pass from Mateo Kovacic and he thereafter managed to fend off the challenge from two Norwich defenders before slotting home the winner from outside the box.
As such, a number of Blues supporters have expressed their delight towards the showing of the England international, who scored his first two goals for the club in his professional career.
Here are some of the reactions on Twitter….

Fantastic game from Tammy Abraham today. Bit of a shame he didn't get to go for his hat-trick but hopefully this is the beginning of a good season for him.#NORCHE
